Connecting with Yourself

Life can often feel like an ever-increasing treadmill, and it’s easy to lose ourselves in the chaos.

Are you looking for a neutral, safe space where you can talk through current issues; a place where there is no judgement and no right or wrong? I use powerful listening, reflection and compassionate communication (NVC) to connect with you and listen for your needs.

To live life consciously, we need to stop, pause and listen.

Part of conscious living is also about being aware of the myths associated with loss:

  • time heals all wounds
  • keep busy
  • grieve alone
  • be strong
  • look on the bright side
  • replace the loss

Loss teaches you to close your heart, and armour up.
Healing teaches you to open your heart and boundary up.
The first step in healing is being heard.

In Bronnie Ware’s book “The Top Five Regrets of the Dying” she cites the most common regrets expressed by the people she had cared for:

I wish I hadn’t worked so hard
I wish I had the courage to express my feelings
I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends
I wish I had let myself be happier
I wish I had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
